I find this project fascinating, as I do with much that comes out of Japanese minimalism. Keep an eye on what is most profound about the simplicity of this piece, as it's not a 'simple' design, rather the way it pulls the eye away (exterior) from the irregular noise of the surroundings. This is then reflected in the plans where we see again very open spaces, almost like white-space on a page, again, directing our focus to a singular direction, image, view etc.. I comment on this because of what was recently posted, in that you can learn a lot from this example in terms of framing views, creating spaces of serenity, reflexion, in your positioning and choices of materials and lighting.
