Brooklyn

The building typology that I have selected which is an art school, has led me to choose the Brooklyn site. Located in Dumbo, I believe the location is known for its neighborhood residents to be in the creative field. The Brooklyn site seems to be more art oriented than the Manhattan site and since Dumbo has emerged as one of the premier art districts in New York, it would definitely take advantage of an art school. The views, along with the parks and the semi isolation from the city creates an exciting environment suitable for the art school.
